On the day that Hillingdon Council pledged that it would continue to oppose the suggested HS2 proposal through the Borough, Boris Johnson, Mayor of London reaffirmed his support of residents who thanked him for his personal efforts in helping to secure the 2.75 mile tunnel through Ruislip. A local resident summed up the occasion by saying,Wasn't it a great day yesterday? Boris was on form and Ray (cllr Puddifoot) was very reassuring about the future of the campaign.
